Rear Master Cylinder
« : March 25, 2013, 12:38:37 PM »

Hope your area is recovering from the storm, and getting help if you need it.  My problem is my bike is a 1994 model and no repair kit is available for the rear master cylinder.  Are the other years interchangeable with this model .  Otherwise I will have to replace the entire cylinder.   It is leaking too much to leave.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry I missed this post, Hurricane Sandy wiped out one of our houses and that's been keeping me busy as hell. To answer your question, as far as I know, the rear master cylinder should be the same from 85~2001. Best way to check would be the part numbers. I actually never had to replace one on a duty unit. The only people that might have a rebuild kit would be K&L supply. Don't think they sell customer direct though. Have to go through a dealer.
